MPO optical fiber patch cord, MPO (Multi-fiber PushOn) connector is one of the MT series connectors. The cores of the MT series are precisely connected through two guiding holes with diameters of 0.7mm on the end face of the core and guiding pins (also called PIN pins). After the MPO connector and the optical fiber cable are processed, various forms of MPO patch cords can be produced. MPO patch cords can have 2 to 12 cores, and the maximum can be 24 cores. Currently, the most commonly used is the 12-core MPO connector. The compact design of the MPO connector enables it to have a large number of cores and a small volume.
